A barrister and member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, Michael was called to the Degree of the Utter Bar of England and Wales, after which he was called to The Bahamas Bar. Michael is a Counsel and Attorney of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas and a licensed Notary Public. His areas of experience include Estate and Probate Law, Company Law, Family Law, and Civil Litigation.

Michael is also a Certified Public Accountant with more than 10 years of experience in providing accounting, assurance, and consulting services to companies in the following industries and sectors: Asset Management; Non-Profit; Aviation; Hotel; Private Banking; Television and Telecommunications. Furthermore, he is a member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants and has completed a Masters Degree in Accountancy from La Universidad de Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
 

Michael is fluent in both the English and Spanish Languages. Currently, he is learning to speak Portuguese and in his spare time, Michael enjoys reading, fine-dining, boxing, playing the piano, and travelling. He has a keen interest in education and learning about other cultures and has lived in Mexico and Jamaica for two (2) and four (4) years, respectively. Further, he has visited and spent some time in the USA, the UK, Canada, Panama, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Brazil, the Cayman Islands, and St. Lucia.
